A values driven, proven coach and leader with extensive experience gained during a successful, high pressure career in the Civil Service. Strong track record in operational and policy delivery, specialising in transition coaching and mentoring, mediation, conflict management and leading change. After a successful career in the UK Civil Service (the last nine as a member of the Senior Civil Service) established SeeaChange Ltd, an independent consultancy service specialising in change management advice and support; transition coaching and mentoring; and mediation. Although latterly a senior member of the central HR Team at the Ministry of Justice, she also has a wealth of experience in leadership, people management, policy development/delivery and complex change implementation gained through a range of roles in the UK Civil Service. As one of the Ministry of Justice's senior Diversity Champions, helped improve the MOJ rankings in the Stonewall Workplace Equality Index in 2014/15 and spearheaded the Straight Allies movement within the department, working closely with the LGBT community to campaign for a more inclusive and gay-friendly workplace. An experienced, accredited career coach, established and lead the MOJ's national Career Transition Service. Over four years, recruited and lead a national team of coaches providing tailored one-to-one and group coaching and outplacement support to 1,000+ employees in large-scale organisational restructures which avoided business costs of circa £14million; Established a reputation as a highly effective personal and career transition coach to 200+ public sector clients across Government, including a high proportion of senior civil servants with consistently excellent feedback;As a qualified Workplace Mediator, provided professional guidance and leadership to the Civil Service Mediation Service, leading a national team of 250+ mediators and growing the client base by more than 50% in three years. The service provides a cost-effective alternative to formal dispute processes, reducing harm and loss of productivity.
