Started my career back in the glory days of Channel Nine where the hardest part about winning money was working the binding machine (yes it was the late 90s)! Experienced an amazing learning curve and after 7 years, took over as the Victorian Sales Manager at SBS. As a very young State Sales Manager, I threw myself into the deep end with the challenge of getting SBS TV/Online/Radio offering onto the radar at all Melbourne agencies and growing the very undercooked revenue accordingly. Over a 7 year period, I was fortunate to grow the team with some sensational talent and importantly increase the revenue by 400%.After great success both culturally and financially, I left SBS in 2012 to round out my business acumen in the startup/tech world taking over as GM of 1Form Online. Three years in the startup space gave me such a unique business experience that supercharged my skill set in a way that I don’t believe I would have achieved in traditional media. After 3 years, I started to ‘get the itch’ for a new challenge and was put forward to work at Authentic Entertainment working with a great national team selling their national radio offering and the amazing Vevo platform. However, when SCA bought Authentic, I was offered the role of Client Services Director at Starcom, giving me the opportunity to learn such a vital part of the media industry - vastly increasing my knowledge and understanding of how a media agency, creative agency and clients work.In 2019 I made the move back into sales taking on the role of Agency Sales Director at ARN, Australia's most progressive audio business. I was fortunate to have a meaningful impact of both the culture and the performance of the Melbourne business - growing internal culture scores significantly whilst step changing the performace of the sales team in terms of market share, revenue volume and moving from #3 to #1 in NPS with our clients.After almost 4 years at ARN I made the move to create my own Media Consulting business - The Nexum Group. A business thats creates meangingful connections and solves business challenges for our partners. From a philanthropic perspective, I founded The Susie Harris Memorial Fund in the name of my late mother. The charities purpose is to raise both awareness and funds to fight Motor Neurone Disease (MND). Since 2008, we have raised over $350,000 and have funded multiple research grants & provided almost $100,000 worth of equipment to those currently fighting the disease.

Other Events held by the Fund include three Classic Car Shows in March of 2012, 2013 & 2014 on the grounds of St Leonard College in Brighton and the James Bond Skyfall Charity Screening in November 2012.To date the charity has risen a profit of over $350,000 of which has funded -- Two $60,000 Research Grants - $95,000 of equipment that has been allocated to people currently effected by MND- An International Travel Fellowship Grant Show less
