Working within the Impact and Evaluation team I led our work on data analytics and was responsible for the launch of the Young Enterprise Evidence Hub. The main focus was to turn large volumes of raw data into insights on the organisations reach and impact for the senior leadership team. This involved cleaning, transforming and modelling data using internal and external data sources such as government datasets (e.g. ONS & GIAS), Oracle databases, SharePoint and APIs for survey platforms. Within two months in post I had automated the cleaning and transforming of KPI data, presenting the results in an automated monthly KPI report for senior management. This covered more than 25 programmes and services and saved the organisation approximately 480 hours of staff time per year whilst providing more granular insights for specific regions, IMDs and timescales. I also created dynamic heat maps for all programmes using ONS data and Power BI, which provided a visual representation of our reach. This saved the organisation thousands of pounds that was quoted by an agency to deliver the same product just for a single programme. I also created a heat map for all our delivery work corresponding to the 55 Education Investment Areas announced by the government in February 2022 which aided our policy work.

Working within the medical centre of Nuffield's UK Flagship City club, one of the largest health and wellbeing clubs in London. I worked as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Doctors, Cardiologists, Nutritionists, Psychologists and Physiotherapists. My role as a Physiologist was to deliver health assessments designed to support clients in achieving their health and wellbeing goals through effective lifestyle management. My daily working life involved liaising with NHS and private GPs to provide holistic support for lifestyle change in patients to minimise their risk of disease and poor health in the future. Therefore, evidence based practice was key to my role and continual research on developments in nutritional, activity and mental health guidelines was essential in ensuring the service we provided was clinically consistent.I was also involved in the SWAP programme ‘Schools Wellbeing Activity Programme’ which involved the delivery of health and wellbeing sessions to schools in and around London to support young people to improve their wellbeing. Topics covered are similar to those included in health assessments with adults, including sleep, food, exercise and resilience/emotional wellbeing.
