Recently, we worked together on a Cyber Security module for a global pharmaceutical company. Sam was not only the lead designer on the project - in terms of module designs - she also conceived & created the assets for the 4-part video series we produced for it. I feel like some context is worth highlighting here. These videos were originally meant to be an 80/20 split between live-action footage and animation. But then Covid19 hit. The entire concept for the videos needed to be rewritten, and then reworked from the ground up to be achievable within lockdown. That 80/20 split got flipped - and the series became 80% animated content. Giving Sam the challenge to quadruple her workload during a global pandemic, on lockdown, with many of the team on furlough (so unable to support). I think, for me, the most impressive thing about her work on this project - is despite everything, the entire thing feels organic. It honestly feels like it was always meant to be this way. The videos, the modules, everything seemlessly working together to create something new, something exciting and something innovative for us at Sponge. Ontop of all that - something the client/their brand team love. I couldn't recommend Sam highly enough. Her work ethic, ability to collaborate within different team dynamics, and her amazing output as a Designer is (and was) really difficult to do justice to. "
