Since his release he has been attending football clubs, schools, colleges and other community based projects across the country warning and educating young people about the perils of crime and the importance of education by telling his powerful and moving story. Hmp Oakwood

I was the 6th prisoner to arrive at HMP Oakwood in April 2012, I was involved in the initial setup of the Prison and supporting staff with the Induction of new Prisoners, Education, Chaplaincy, Resettlement, ITC staff training and gave birth to"Douglas" Super enhanced wing and Elm "Family unit" started the F.I.T (Family Intervention Team) supporting fellow prisoners to maintain valuable family ties. working with external agencies supporting prisoners on release. HMICP " Excellent work being done on the Family Unit considering it's only been open 7 weeks) Started the B.I.G (Basic Intervention Group) project which Staff and Directors thought we were "crazy" 12 months into it B.I.G won a Ministry Of Justice award "Now who's the crazy one" I was very lucky to have been under the likes of J McLaughlin, E Doust, P Corrighan, A Sleight, L Bonnick, T Hayes and S Oliver.
