I support and add new functionality to the systems in support of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) that provide products on Microsoft's Power Platform. Specifically, I support:* ISV Studio (https://isvstudio.powerplatform.com), a toolset for ISVs to view the performance and usage of their applications* Maintenance window management allowing customers to modify when automated maintenance of their PowerApps environments takes place throughout the day.* Application install/update process in customer PowerApps environments.* New features I can't talk about yet ;)

Most recently I develop and support systems within Microsoft's Power Platform. This includes working on the following products:* ISV Studio (https://isvstudio.powerapps.com) which helps Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) track the performance and usage of their applications* Maintenance Window management. I designed and implemented a new global microservice enabling customers to manage when automated updates happen in their environments (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/power-platform/admin/manage-maintenance-window)Previously, I supported Microsoft's Azure quota system (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/azure-resource-manager/management/azure-subscription-service-limits) used to reduce fraud, manage capacity and help ensure equitable access to resources. Azure's quota system is used globally and in virtually every Azure subscription. I also did some of the initial work to enable customers programmatic access (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/reserved-vm-instances/quotaapi) to manage their quota in a simpler, automated fashion.

I deal daily with challenging issues in a live, time-critical environment on a distributed computing system. Without the luxury of hours-on-end in a development lab, I am accustomed to coming up with unique methods to quickly probe and resolve bugs when they arise. I get to have a lot of fun solving complicated problems and constantly learning new aspects of an ever-changing, large-scale application.I daily have a positive impact on the effectiveness of the mission at the National Training Center. I have the special opportunity to support systems that help save lives, and have directly contributed to increasing the stability and up-time of our systems by 75%. I directly support and interact with over 200 users of the software I work with, and have an impact on thousands of other users worldwide. In this position, I had the opportunity to support the mission at the National Training Center by focusing on cyber-security. I gained valuable insight into security control measures, auditing systems and how to identify and trace malicious activity in a large computing system.In this role, I:* Developed small scripts and applications to streamline work functions such as a vulnerability scan result aggregator which could track open vulnerabilities across multiple systems along with tracking any mitigating factors.* Assisted in DIACAP security audits* Managed Nessus Security Center server and perform vulnerability scans* Performed all duties included in my former role as Jr. Computer Security Analyst
