Same responsibilities as previously in Material Specialist role but tittle updated due several years also sustainability items has been part of my role. This means RoHS (China RoHS), REACH, WEEE, Conflict Minerals statements and follow-up in DT projects and Products that parts and product meets latest requirements. This means also supply chain inspections, monitoring and support to these requirements.

Researching, developing and evaluating microelectronics and SMT assembly and packaging materials to enhance product quality and performance. Responsible for material selections and qualifications in the new (PC) development projectsLeading continuous improvement projects to increase quality and cost-effectiveness of existing production productsProviding guidance and support for Process and Manufacturing Engineers during technology and/or product transfer to production facilities, or at key suppliersBeing main technical interface with material suppliers to actively evaluate new materials to enhance assembly quality and cost-effectivenessOrganizing and performing engineering material analysis, new material assessments, failure analysis, problem trouble shooting and material reliability testing

Co-operation with customers, planning and executing reliability tests, heading benchmarking project for customer, creating test specifications and performing Failure Analysis based on customers need. Mainly concerning SEM-EDAX imiging and analysing, cross-sectioning, XRF-plating thickness analyses.

My main responsible areas as a Standard Product Reliability Requirements Manager is e.g. to:- manage Nokia global product reliability requirements- manage studies and projects supporting content development- manage the content of Standard Product Reliability Technical expert network- responsible for own area training material and trainings

Tasks:- Failure analysis- Material testing test management, training and assessment on Nokia suppliers - Responsible of own areas reliability requirements and method development- Standard Product Requirements network core team leader and verification specialist
