Samina counsels major corporations on addressing climate change and human rights at the executive and board level. Her work spans advising effective engagement with governments, standards bodies, civil society, and other market participants. She has helped her clients develop corporate and product level leadership and compliance strategies, along with the internal organizational and governance infrastructure to allow meaningful execution. She has been a thought leader in developing the ESG legal practice in-house and in law firms, and frequently guest lectures for law schools, business schools, and professional organizations on sustainability and ESG. Her practice is built on years of counseling major corporations through bet the company enforcement defense and internal investigations. In addition, she has litigated and won against the federal government in high stakes litigation and has been featured in major news outlets. Samina has been nationally recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star in Environmental Law, has received the Assistant Attorney General Award for Outstanding Achievement from the U.S. Department of Justice, and was selected for the prestigious Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
