I have a MSc in Applied Physics from Delft University of Technology. My MSc research project (under the supervision of Prof. dr. Barbara M. Terhal) focused on the effects of noise on the performance of near-term quantum algorithms, and on the study of entangled qubit states in a noisy environment. During the end of my studies, I did my internship at QuantWare in April 2022, where I worked on the design and simulation of application-specific algorithms for near-term superconducting QPUs.After my graduation, I stayed at QuantWare as a full-time employee in the role of Quantum Design Engineer, where I designed and tuned commercial as well as experimental superconducting quantum processors. Some of my tasks included developing and editing new chip components such as superconducting qubits, resonators, couplers and Josephson junctions, to designing the Hamiltonian parameters for a given processor.I joined QuTech at Delft University of Technology in October 2023 as a Research Engineer at the DiCarlo lab, in order to pursue research at an academic level. During that time I focused on setting-up an experimental setup for controlling and measuring a 7-qubit superconducting quantum processor, as well as streamlining the basic qubit characterization procedure. As of March 2024, I became a PhD candidate under the supervision of Prof. dr. Leonardo DiCarlo.
