Furthermore, I could performed the study of optimized Manual Transmissions units in the market (in terms of total mass reduction) to compare different optimization results with Toyota’s MT units. The final objective of this internship was: present a series of mass reduction ideas to Toyota’s MT units so they can be considered as potential proposals for further investigation and viable solution.
