MedQuist is the world’s largest provider of “voice to coding” solutions for healthcare, dictation, speech recognition software, outsourced medical transcription and coding services needs. Responsible for designing test beds for multiple products to conduct monthly certifications against Microsoft security patches. Created test cases using Quality Center.

Designed and implemented website for global services team at Hewlett-Packard. Responsibilities included determining needs of the team and sourcing solutions to enable the group to work together from remote locations. Provided application support during training period for full time employees.

Webmaster for Practical Peripherals, backup webmaster for Hayes. Also maintained online forums on both CompuServe and America OnLine for Practical. Duties included formatting printed documentation for use on the web, posting and updating online files and answering customer inquiries via e-mail. Coded CGI applications for use in online registration.

Responsibilities included responding to customers’ questions via e-mail and answering support question via various online forums including two BBSs, CompuServe and America OnLine. HTML work involved page design layout and converting printed material for use on the web. Maintained Practical BBS and FTP sites.

Telephone support on all Hayes products including Optima, Accura and Macintosh product lines. Moved into high-end support within 3 months with company.
