About Sam Leah
My first career phase, which lasted almost a decade, was in In-Vitro Diagnostics, specifically in the field of Transplantation and HLA. I helped to develop a complex automated protein microarray system, from initial design to launch and through several upgrade cycles. Towards the end of my time I took a team leader role in the Operations side of the business, where my largest project was as Technical lead for a site move.In 2011-12 I completed a 1 year full-time MSc course in Immunology & Immunogenetics, achieving a distinction. In 2013 I started working in the Pharmaceutical sector, at Wockhardt, a generic parenteral manufacturer. I've been involved with delivery of a variety of projects, covering automated visual inspection, serialisation and labelling and with an interest in validation on computer based systems (CSV).
