As a consultant for FBSciences, Inc, a biologicals company in Collierville TN, I built and maintained a database that serves a dashboard to navigate years of historical product trial data while generating reporting in Tableau to serve users. I am a graduate of Ohio State in Mathematics (BS) and Philosophy (BA). I spent a year as a data analyst and program designer in Seattle at Children's Home Society of Washington, where I helped to create metrics, led a department-wide data and math education initiative, and helped design workshops to teach stress management, responsive parenting, and core life skills.After leaving Seattle in March, I was employed by a family business in Minneapolis, for whom I provided research, web design, contract negotiation, and cost benefit analyses. I also provide catering and meal service, caretaking for a young man with cognitive disabilities, and general contracting work(electrical, landscaping, carpentry). In January 2019 I transitioned to a new role at 3M on the Digital Operations team as a Syndication Analyst. I work with large databases to clean and ship customer data as well as provide department level metrics. Primarily, we use PowerBI and Microsoft Excel. We manage customer relations with Salesforce.I create visualizations and tell stories about data using analytical tools like R and Tableau, and creative tools like Illustrator and Inkscape. Human Centered Design strategies for prototyping, iteration, and metrics.When I am not behind this screen building new tools, I am probably running, cooking, or reading about urban design and local policy.
