In this role I managed the entire infrastructure (and associated budgets) including the network both wired and wireless across the site. I attend IT strategy meetings liaising with senior leadership and school governors to ensure the schools IT provision meets and exceeds its academic needs. To support this I ran a helpdesk where I managed staff and supported the school both pupils and teachers.

Successfully transformed a medium sized (approx.450 staff) company with no IT and limited infrastructure into one with cutting edge technology with best of breed systems. The projects I have managed included; Self-hosted VOIP, self-managed CCTV, upgrade to gigabit network, complete virtualization of servers to Hyper-V, complete refurbishment of network infrastructure for additional building. Alongside the infrastructure changes I have project managed, tailored (bespoke code) and implemented Sage 1000 ERP.

Java developer involved in the full project lifecycle of creating and deploying a middleware Java application to manage the secure transferring of funds between accounts. Project led in prototyping a touch screen application for ‘Branch of the Future’.

Managed 2 people in a 3rd level support team, within a larger team of 11. This involved providing technical expertise on Branch applications, including incident management and disaster recovery.
