Supports the collective training requirements of U.S. Army Special Operations units. Analyzes exercise observations as they apply to tactical and operational level of war. Observes military training and operations to ensure conformity with U.S. Joint and Army doctrine, policies, and procedures. Maintains proficiency in the Special Operations operational and tactical area to support After Action Review (AAR) analysis. Serves as the Subject-matter Expert for Special Operations Forces and the integration of those functions into operations. •Senior Operations Manager to the Civil Military Directorate and Coordinates language and cultural training for an 850 person Organizational Staff. •Assists in developing an engagement strategy, planning, integration, coordination and synchronization with joint military, Non-Governmental and international Agencies for operations and projects in support of regional plans.•Organizes and conducts conferences between international and interagency partners to train and educate Corps and subordinate unit staff members. •Served as the Senior Advisor to the Chief Strategy Officer, providing expertise on personnel issues, legal actions, and morale, welfare and recreation events. Utilized expert knowledge of DOD planning, programs and appropriate analytic and evaluative methods for assuring current strategies and polices are being utilized.•Programed a $5.8 Million organizational Military Contacts (GS-12/13) budget for annual funding allocations to conduct 600 military engagement events utilizing multiple funding authorities spanning the African Continent. •Gained expert knowledge of all International Security Cooperation Programs and systems to include: Military Contacts, International Military Education and Training, Foreign Humanitarian Assistance, ACOTA, Humanitarian Demining, Counter Terrorism Fellowship Program and associated electronic interfaces.•Communicated with Joint Staff and DOD General Counsel on a daily basis to ensure policy compliance. •Enabled healthy working relationships throughout the command between all levels of personnel by planning and conducting organizational events to unify the team.•Incorporated National Security Agency (NSA) and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) language enabled programs to enhance collection capability on the African Continent.

•Served as First Sergeant in a Civil Affairs Battalion Headquarters Company of 76 personnel. Principle advisor to the Commander on all enlisted issues and operations. •Responsible for the Medical and Force Protection training readiness for all personnel prior to deploying to combat operations in Operation Enduring Freedom-Afghanistan and Horn of Africa. Served as Battalion Operations Sergeant Major while unit was in build status. •Ensured all sections were capable of supporting operational requirements while staffed at 50 and 75 percent personnel. •Supported 4 deployed Civil Affairs Companies in two Theaters of Operations prior to actual unit activation.

•Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the Civil Military Operations Center.•Developed unit force protection and antiterrorism plans while in the Operation Iraqi Freedom (Surge) Theater of operations. •Operations NCO for a five-team Airborne Civil Affairs Company in the active component, aligned to the EUCOM and CENTCOM areas of responsibility. •Responsible for coordinating the company movement of all teams into and out of theater, for tracking training requirements and ensuring all teams were deployable and could provide effective operations support to SOCEUR and SOCCENT and other units worldwide.•Maintained liaison duties to supported units when required to facilitate civil military operations. •Utilized The Asymmetric Software Kit (ASK) Skill Level III to analyze civil information. •Served as the Forward Operating Base Falcon Humanitarian Assistance Coordinator.

•Served as Team Sergeant / Force Protection NCO for a four-man Civil Affairs Team deployed to austere environments in the only active airborne Civil Affairs Battalion. •Responsible for the training, morale, welfare, accountability and maintenance of all personnel and assigned equipment. Ensured the team could deploy within 18 hours to any country in the USEUCOM area of operation or worldwide for operations to provide multiple skills and language expertise.•Planned, trained, advised, assisted and executed Civil Military Operations (CMO) and other programs to enhance the Commander in Chief's ability to accomplish national objectives.•Conducted assessments of all civil infrastructure on an operational basis as a means to enable the local governance and population to defeat insurgent influence and propaganda. Operation Enduring Freedom - Afghanistan and Horn of Africa Theater of operations. Enabled local national governmental leaders to gain influence over the population and deter insurgent movement and credibility on the area of operations. •Utilized existing information systems to identify individuals’ relationships to active terror cells and organizations with reports going to higher headquarters including the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Joint Chiefs of Staff resulting in the kill/ capture 2 HVTs responsible for the U.S. Embassy Bombings in Dar Es Salaam and Nairobi, Kenya. •Commended by the Commandant of Naval Special Warfare Command for providing expert level firearms training to deployed Navy personnel.•Provided U.S. Embassy Nairobi, Kenya with pivotal force protection guidance ensuring the safety of fellow team members.
