I was an instructor at Canby Bible College; conducted parenting classes; grief-share classes; visited at the hospitals; conducted funerals and weddings; coordinated water baptisms & prayer teams, and saw pastoral counseling appointments.However, my time at Canby Foursquare Church has included many career phases. Allow me to briefly outline them in five.

I was the director of their daycare center and oversaw the children's ministry. That included Sunday School, holiday events, and Wednesday Kid's Club. The church grew during our time there from 180 people to over 400. I oversaw 15 teachers and 29 volunteers. Each summer we took a group of the children to summer camp at Crestview.

I was the senior pastor in charge of preaching, adult education, overseeing Sunday School, conducting board meetings, and visitation. I visited in the local nursing home and got our church involved in the annual town 4th of July celebration. I also oversaw a building project of putting a new roof on our building. I earned extra money by driving a school bus.

Dallas, Texas

I was the principal/administrator of this private Christian School owned and ran by the Dallas Foursquare Church. We served students from Kindergarten through grade twelve and had 145 students. We also had a daycare center with 85 children. I was in charge of weekly chapels, all parents meetings, and two holiday programs. I oversaw 12 teachers and staff. I.

I was the pastor in charge of preaching on Sunday and Wednesday as well as teaching adult Sunday School class. We took a group to family camp each summer at Whispering Oaks. We did fund raising projects for the camp mission project. I was also the president of the local ministerial association and taught the Bible as Literature at the local high school. I.

Pine Bluff, Arkansas

I was the pastor in charge of preaching on Sunday and Wednesday as well as teaching adult Sunday School. I also conducted events for the youth of our church and took them to summer camp. At family camp at Whispering Oaks I was in charge of the children's area. I earned extra money by substitute teaching for the local schools.

Albuquerque, New Mexico

Taught the high school age Sunday School class, planned youth events, took youth to summer camp at Whispering Oaks. Was involved with the Billy Graham Crusade that was held in Albuquerque that year. Worked full time at a paper recycling plant.

Ashland, Oregon

I was the youth pastor in charge of teaching the teen Sunday School class, all youth events, and summer camp planning. I also led worship during the Sunday services. We started a coffeehouse ministry for college age in our town which grew to over 100 at our Tuesday night Bible studies. I also held a full time job at a shoe store.

I was the youth pastor in charge of high school and college age groups. I taught college age Sunday School. I planned weekly youth group activity nights, summer camp, and winter retreat. I also worked part time as the janitor for the church's youth/gymnasium building.
