• Lead the UK West Network Delivery team (Wales, the Marches, M4 corridor, Wessex and the South West), with over 1,800 direct labour engineers and c.500 third party partners. • We deploy the network to businesses, major corporates and the public sector via high-bandwidth Ethernet connectivity and to new homes via Fibre to the Premises (FTTP). • Our team also maintains the capacity of our Next Generation Access (NGA) ‘Superfast’ cabinets in addition to providing the direct labour capacity for the Fibre Cities, scale commercial FTTP programme.

• Accountable for the optimisation of all Openreach outsourced spend within the engineering field services sector including a multi-million pound efficiency portfolio. • Led a national pilot to materially transform the operating model, behaviors, process, contract, data and systems delivering £8m annualised cost savings and a 30% service improvement.• Operational lead on Openreach Network Services Agreement (ONSA) a 5 year, £3bn tender. This included transforming internal and partner operating models, cultural framework, process and IT, reporting and drafting all relevant contract schedules. • Led most formal commercial negotiations with tenderers and subsequently sponsored transition of contract into life post-signature.

2015 - 2016Senior Operational Manager, Civil Engineering, Auxiliaries and External Suppliers, Business and Corporate Delivery - Openreach• Taken a failing team of 40 and transformed it into a 100+ strong, engaged, high-performing, structured operation increasing per capita output by 32%, reducing cycle time by 70% and improving RFT by 75%. • Fixed failing upstream and downstream areas and delivered material e2e transformation (design, stakeholder management and implementation) while maintaining operational delivery.• Delivered a 4 day cycle time reduction for overall business and £6.2m annualised revenue.2014 - 2015 Business Manager to President: Portfolio and Service Design, BT Advise and CIO BT Global Services• Led management of President’s office, acted as an advisor on business management activities maintaining strong relationships with the HR, finance and business operational Vice Presidents.• Ownership of preparation for multiple Board level reviews including assimilation and analysis of financial, sales, organisational health and change data.• Managed several projects on President’s behalf including reorganisation of BTGS pre-sales process, strategic resource transformation and several cost and revenue initiatives for CFO.2013 - 2014 Senior Manager, Network Investment - Openreach • Responsible for managing down business unit’s key financial and service liability: Service Level Guarantee payments. 2008 - 2012 British Army (UK, Afghanistan, miscellaneous global)Captain, Troop Commander • Headed an independent, discrete Special Forces team in Afghanistan with a $1.2 million budget charged with training and mentoring of a 100-man Afghan Special Forces unit.• Transformed an underperforming project through design and implementation of innovative programme of change.
