-Developed the building blocks of a multi-faith coalition to strengthen the response of faith leaders to the religious oppression of Uyghur people occurring in China’s Xinjiang province.-Created a multi-faith strategy to highlight the struggle and persecution of the Uyghur people in China’s Xinjiang province. -Presented Uyghur Advocacy project strategy to the organization and advisory board. -Created marketing collateral including animations, videos, and social posts to prompt the launch of our Uyghur advocacy campaign. -Had intimate discussions with change-makers, policymakers, and faith leaders to learn more about developing issues regarding multi-faith engagement and policy decisions.-Drafted a proposal for a multi-faith Fort Bend County prayer breakfast.-Collaborated to create content and marketing collateral pertaining to a national audience for MuslimsHaveCondemned.com.-Worked as a part of a team in creating content for a candidate forum document targeted towards elected officials and officials running for office.-Participated in organization-wide brainstorming sessions to enhance the programming and scope of our signature programs and future events.-Learned and used project management tool, NiftyPM, to condense, organize, and collaborate with other team members. -Researched and compiled information pertaining to legislation and responses to human rights violations of Uyghur and Rohingya people. -Assisted colleagues with research and administrative tasks related to civic engagement projects.
