Project Detail:-660MW Ultra Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project of Lucky Electric Power Company.Responsibilities:-• Review of I&C construction, commissioning, and safety procedural documents such as P&ID’s, Process Flow Diagram, Request for Work Commencement (RWCF), Method Statement (MS), Inspection and Testing Procedure (ITP’s), Design Change, Job Safety & Environmental Analysis (JSEA) and Commissioning Procedures.• Coordination with EPC contractor for I&C construction and commissioning activities.• Conduct of Request for Inspection (RFI’s) from EPC, Generating Non Compliance Form (NCR) and verifying Milestone Completion Certificate (MCC) from EPC side.• Ensures equipment, materials, and the installation shall be in compliance with company’s standards and guidelines.• Loop checking, testing, and pre-commissioning all systems and their all types of instruments.• DCS and PLC Interlocking and protection logic tests of all systems and their instruments and equipment.• Participation in progress reports, L3 Schedule, and updated meetings with clients.• Keeping Track of I&C construction & commissioning activities and project timeline.• Familiar with Chinese GB codes of a power plant and its implementation on ongoing work.

One year training period include six month technical training of instrumentation and control of supercritical coal fired power plant at Chongxin Power Plant (660MW), Gansu, China, by PowerChina Gansu Energy Investment Co., Ltd Pakistan Branch and six month at Port Qasim site commissioning experience.Commissioning Experience:- • Understand process flow diagrams, P&ID, and related project documentation.• Familiar with Chinese GB codes of a power plant and its implementation on ongoing work.• Ensures equipment, materials, and the installation shall be in compliance with company’s standards and guidelines.• Loop checking, testing and pre commissioning of instruments include all types of transmitters and actuators.• Interlocking and protection logic tests of all instruments and electrical equipment.• Verification of instruments proper installation and preventative measures for their long time protection.

- I was placed in (LMV) Department, where I saw and learned about the Electricity Control Panel, Power Factor Control Panel- I learned about their assembling, working and maintenance.- I got good exposure of management of production line on floor.- Beside LMV I got the chance to visit and learned about the other departments of Siemens like Transformer and Energy Automation.
