In my Order Picker role, I frequented various bin locations on multiple floors to effectively gather all items on each ticket effectively. I did a thorough job to ensure each order contains every item available at that moment in time. Furthermore, I quickly caught onto the locations of each bin and was able to navigate with ease around the vast warehouse allowing me to improve my time management. If an item happened to not be in the said location assigned on the ticket, I made use of Basil- the system to check for other possible locations that may stock the item. In doing so, saving other staff members from having to fill in the gaps at another time. When told my areas in need of improvement. I was able to critically analyse my own actions and pace of work and discuss with senior members of staff in order to keep track of my own progress and adjust my actions within any weak areas accordingly. Ultimately, this led to a great improvement in my performance and allowed me to reach targets and even exceed them alongside expectations. Overall, I effectively picked products for orders and helped to pack these afterwards in a neat manner to maintain order when it progresses to the next stage of the despatch.
