Samson is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Mathematics at Penn State University. He was a Teaching Assistant of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University. His research area is model theory, in particular abstract elementary classes. He has won the Hugh Young Graduate Student Teaching Award (2023) and the department Outstanding Research Graduate Student Prize (2022). Prior to his graduate program, he finished his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He started his career in the NTK Academic Group, focusing on international test preparations: GCE AL, IBDP and AP. He was also a private tutor of mathematics and statistics. Through university education, Samson aims to contribute his knowledge and spread his passion for mathematics.
