I have an “inclusion mentality” that has enabled me to thrive amongst international researchers, starting from the very early stages of my career. I particularly enjoy engaging in extremely challenging tasks, as success gives me a personal sense of fulfillment. As a versatile project leader, I thrive extensively through the 5 rules of project management – initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring and Control, and Closing/Testing – and have had to combine my leadership role as a bioinformatician in prostate cancer genomics with another leadership commitment as data steward of clinical information in the Genomics England (100,000 genome project) dataset. I continually thrive to sustain the balance between work and well-being.
