I managed a team of engineers that developed Profile Analyst, Discover, QuickMag, and MapInfo Pro Advanced. I was thought leader, lead designer, and lead programmer for the MapInfo Pro Advanced product, principally the core raster technology libraries.

Engineered data processing and visualization software in C++ and MFC for Windows. I was the lead programmer on a variety of products and also took a team management role. The role also included support and customer engagement, as well as sales activities at industry conferences.

As an Exploration Geophysicist, I used geophysical surveying and investigation methods to support the mineral exploration activities of the parent mining company. Typically this would involve contracting and conducting ground and airborne geophysical surveys, supervising the surveys in the field and validating the data quality, processing and preparing the data, interpreting and modelling the data, and preparing detailed reports for the exploration team. As a team, we would then follow up with geological exploration, drilling, and geochemical sampling surveys.

As a Field Geophysicist in the Ground department, I was tasked to conduct geophysical surveys in Australia and overseas. I worked on an oil exploration crew in Pakistan for a total of six months, and three months on a similar crew in Thailand. I conducted geophysical surveys to support mineral exploration activities in most of the Australian States and Territories. I also worked in the Airborne department and assisted with the preparation of airborne geophysical survey reports.
