Promoted from Paralegal to Case Manager in three days of starting in my position. Acted as the bridge between the client, attorney and opposing counsel. Managed a case load of 100+ clients, took the intakes of potential new clients and was part of obtaining multi-thousand dollar settlements.

Provided legal documents and research 10-15 board separations, AR 15-6 investigations and other military justice matters on a monthly basis. Created a 20+ personnel database which automatically update personal information and due dates for personnel. Gathered client information for attorney in family law matters such as power of attorney, wills, and separation decrees. Chosen from a group of 5 other paralegals to travel to Kansas to provide support to another unit for their board separations. Received multiple recognitions and awards for my paralegal work. Scheduled appointments for depositions and consultations with potential new clients. Filtered potential clients by providing a concise summary of client’s legal issue to the attorney. If needed followed up with potential client with more questions or a meeting with the attorney. Worked with clients in English and Spanish on answering interrogatories and updating the client with case information. Praised for professionalism, promptness, and friendliness.

Evaluated and prepared for delivery reviews units by testing I/O, measuring lumens and checking for damage. Review units included computer monitors, projectors, smart blackboards and other electronics. Side-loaded operating systems and programs to units to keep them up to date. Organized and inventoried 100’s of review units and refurbished units.

Packed and palletized a variety of food products. Main work line was the peanut butter line. Was responsible for insuring that the peanut butter was properly sealed, dated correctly and legibly, and packed correctly. Work orders were normally about 1,000+ tubs of peanut butter. other duties included, assembling and prepping the machinery to produce and label the different kinds of product. Transporting packaging material from one area of the warehouse to the product room in an efficient and safe manner and still maintain a constant production of the product. Most importantly, maintaining proper cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain room and product cleanliness.

Provided security and safety to the Cal Poly Pomona campus by being the "eyes and ears" for the Cal Poly Pomona Police Department. Positions assigned were Parking/Information Booth Attendant, Front Office Assistant/LiveScan, Enforcement/Service-Calls and Housing/Library Patrol. Duties were providing campus and parking information to campus visitors, students, faculty and staff; patrol sites and report anything that was suspicious or unsafe; and fingerprinted customers for their LiveScans.

Assisted an average of 50 customers per day in finding or selecting items. Assisted team members in handling cash registers, organizing inventory room, labeling products, unloading merchandise, cleaning up and Spanish translating. Provided outstanding customer services, receiving 95% in customer service feedback surveys. Assisted with new design layouts to help increase sales.

Trained and mastered hose extrusion line making machine producing LIQUIDTUFF conduit. Quality controlled conduit to within 1/100th of an inch using calipers and rulers. Produced and packed conduit to meet or surpass the daily quota. Quota usually in the 100s or 1,000s. Conduit ranged from 25-ft to 100-ft long. Asked to stay full-time but interfered with university.

Maintained and provided repairs to the two buildings on campus owned by ASI. Took in and prioritized work orders to keep buildings operational and safe. Work orders ranged from basic repairs, plumbing and electrical work. Conducted preventive maintenance on buildings HVAC systems and water softener systems.

Maintained and sanitized the two buildings owned by ASI, the Bronco Student Center and the Bronco Recreation and Intramural Complex (BRIC) on the Cal Poly Pomona Campus. All while providing a undisturbed and safe environment to the student body and university visitors. Tasks ranged from sanitizing and restocking the restrooms, and the eating areas. Sweeping, recycling and throwing away the trash. Polishing, waxing, stripping, shampooing and scrubbing, concrete, marble, vinyl, and carpet floors. Lastly, provided excellent customer service by answering questions with the most up to date and accurate answers about the campus and surrounding areas.

Conducted basic and preventive maintenance on unit’s dozens of vehicles (HMMWV, LMTV, M149A2, others) following the technical manuals (TM) and other publications in a garage or field setting. Crossed trained on MEP-803A 10 kW Generator. Assigned to vehicle recovery team for field training exercises.
