The core of this role consisted of answering generalist HR & Payroll questions directly relating to policy & procedures, dealing with new starters, flexible working requests, holiday calculations, long service, probation reviews, absence, disciplinary & grievance procedures, re-grading, job specifications, TUPE, redundancies, & dismissals all communicated either via email & letter or verballyI was also tasked with all changes for pharmacist, Pharmacy Managers throughout the business. This was a very manual process done via excel which I have become very proficient at using incorporating Mail Merges, Pivot Tables, Data Validation & VLOOKUP, this role required a great attention to detail. I was also tasked with generating FAQ’s & SOP’s spanning HR, L&D & Payroll which were uploaded to both company website’sGiven the size of the organisation deals with diverse backgrounds, industries & organisations, it becomes important to curtail any advice given to the understanding of the recipient. Added to this the risk management & level of information given will vary depending on the stakeholder, this is to ensure that the business suffers the least amount of impactWorking to tight deadlines, budgets & SLA’s whilst remaining flexible, keeping projects moving forward, adapting to the change in conditions at a swift pace when new issues or projects may take priorityWorking to BAU, I regularly took on project work, helped others. I was tasked with a role that previously was done by two colleagues taking a month to complete, once settled into the task I would complete this task on my own within two weeks with no errors. It would not be uncommon within any of my roles for priorities to change with the business; I believe I have the ability to restructure my day, week & workload to accommodate this.
