Waterfront Publishing creates magazines and provides editorial services for the travel and professional services industries.Our in-house magazine, Cruise Adviser, was launched in 2014. It brings together the most insightful commentators, news and analysis for those looking to sell cruise holidays. Since forming our contract publishing business we have worked with Emerald Waterways, Travel Village, Reed Smith and Travelzoo to name but a few. In 2018 we won the contract to become the publishing partner for ABTA, the British travel association. Our first issue of ABTA Magazine was published in May 2018.

Globetrender is a trend forecasting agency and digital publisher dedicated to the future of travel.We specialise in forward-looking, consumer-facing editorial, as well as trend reports, research and consulting services for the travel industry.

Upon leaving BMI, I joined Travel Daily Media as both online editor of the group and editor of its cruise publication Cruise News.

From February to August 2012 I worked with industry and country analyst Business Monitor International as a sub-editor. My position included working with CMS, Word and InDesign upon which I edited reports, newsletters and news pieces. I left the company due to opportunities to start writing within the travel industry again.

Having started my career working on Microsoft titles involving editing small, company profiles, I became assistant editor of the in-house title Golf Course Architecture and part of the team editing UN periodicals. I also gained experience working on the marketing side and ghost-writing blog posts and articles for a range of financial service clients. My biggest, and most challenging, role was as section editor of the travel title International Cruise and Ferry Review. My role involved proofreading, sub-editing, writing news and features and developing ideas with freelancers. This was my first foray into travel journalism and one that has left a lasting mark.
