I graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in June of 2022. In my undergrad I focused on a power electronics/power systems path with the hopes of working within the realm of marine renewable energy. My final project was designing a system that measures, stores, and transmits swell characteristics in an ocean-going glider all while minimizing power consumption alongside the College of Earth, Ocean, and Atmospheric Science at Oregon State University. As a Graduate Research Assistant, my focus has been on improving the reliability of marine renewable energy systems using learning-based control, looking specifically at biofouling effects and aging of power electronic devices.
