Growing up in southeast Idaho, when the 2008 financial crisis struck, my family's farm and finances were impacted. Pushing us to poverty, I found the insecurity that lack of resources gave. As I was fortunate enough to work from our dire situation and earn an education, I made it central in my career plans to help families grow in the good times and have security when concerns strike. From being able to be with their families in retirement to sending their children off to college, the family is impacted by their financial plan.
