I have always been drawn to motion.My deep and abiding love for the mechanics of the world has tinged every facet of my personal life, from my fascination with transportation, to my manic tinkering with old appliances. Indeed, it is such an integral part of my character that I now seek to make it the cornerstone of my professional life, as well.I have spent four years studying not only mechanical design and engineering, but also cultivating my interests in other, related fields, including product development, materials science, and civil/environmental engineering. I feel a broad background is absolutely necessary for understanding the role of mechanical engineering in modern life and for successfully implementing it in any situation.My pursuits have allowed me to interact with a great number of unique people, and I consider bridging the gap between their disparate viewpoints with my intrepid optimism to be a specialty.My other specialties include digital design and CAD (Creo Parametric and SolidWorks), as well as machining and rapid prototyping.
