I am currently a Doctor of Physical Therapy student at UC San Francisco. My experience as a paramedic has instilled in me a deep understanding of the importance of promoting health equity and providing compassionate care to all individuals. My passion lies in advancing transgender healthcare within the physical therapy profession. I am committed to breaking down barriers to access and providing evidence-based, affirming care to transgender and gender non-conforming individuals. Through research, advocacy, and clinical practice, I seek to drive positive change in this critically underserved area of healthcare. As a EMS healthcare educator, I believe in the power of knowledge to drive positive change. Whether through mentoring students, developing educational resources, or leading professional development sessions, I am dedicated to empowering others to become advocates for inclusive and equitable healthcare. I hope to continue my educator role within the physical therapy community upon successful completion of the physical therapy program.
