-Company Commander for the Defensive Cyberspace Operations-Internal Defensive Measures Company, 9th Communication Battalion, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group.-Led and managed a highly technical team of over 60 personnel and managed the utilization, maintenance and accountability of an equipment suite valued at over $5,000,000.-Led the Defensive Cyberspace Operations section of the I Marine Expeditionary Force Security Operations Center that supports over 50,000 personnel spread across the globe. -Oversaw the investigation and adjudication of multiple suspicious network events utilizing telemetry data sourced from a variety of logs. -Led a team of cyber threat intelligence analysts in the constant integration of multi-disciplinary intelligence resources into current cyber threat hunting operations and in the forecasting of future requirements based on enemy capabilities.-Led the development, training and employment of cyber incident response teams during multiple cyber defense network audits, hunt operations, and security assessments of I MEF critical infrastructure and key resources.

-Cyberspace Operations Planner, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit-Identified, built and maintained relationships across multiple organizations within the Joint Force and US DoD Cyber Enterprise to enable offensive and defensive cyberspace operations in support of the 15th MEU and external entities.-Served as the lead operational planner for Exercise IRON FIST 20 which advanced bilateral relationships between the US and Japan through the planning and execution of amphibious operations.-Served as the lead operational planner for a major naval training evolution involving 3 amphibious war ships, over 3,000 Sailors and Marines spread across the Pacific Ocean and Southern California.-Planned and coordinated a cyber subject matter expert exchange with a partner nation in the Middle East which bolstered relationships and increased cybersecurity capacity.-Planned and coordinated a digital force protection mission utilizing wireless survey capabilities that supported Combined Joint Task Force Horn of Africa’s ability to illuminate a potential enemy early warning network reporting on mission critical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance operations. -Served as a liaison officer to US Air Force Cyber Command for a cyber capability that supported real world operations.

-Led, trained, developed and mentored a diverse group of active duty Marines, government civilians, and contractors responsible for proactively assessing Marine Corps networks, critical cyber terrain, and conducting on site incident response missions against adversarial cyber activity.-Led a cyber defense assessment on a Marine Corps human resources system hosting sensitive personally identifiable information to illuminate adversary activity and identify indicators of compromise.-Led the employment of cyber incident response teams in a combination of (8) exercises, proactive security assessments and incident response missions across the globe, spanning regions of Bahrain, Kuwait, Norway and the United States.-Managed the accountability and maintenance of over $1,000,000 in software and hardware assets within the Marine Corps’ Cyber Protection Team’s Deployable Mission Support System.

-Served as the future operations officer for the Marine Corps’ enterprise network operations and security center, focusing on global defensive cyberspace operations planning and execution.-Stood as the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group’s cyber defense liaison during the transition of Marine Corps Forces Cyberspace Command becoming a full operationally capable unit.-Led multiple operational planning teams to coordinate the cyber defense response to a variety of real world incidents including the Joint Chiefs of Staff incident in 2014 and the Office of Personnel Management breach in 2015.-Developed over 30 situational reports for executive level General Officer leadership summarizing project highlights, key topics and operational reports.-Developed Marine Corps operational and strategic guidance and vision for cybersecurity and cyber defense policy, resourcing, and capabilities.

-Served as the Executive Officer for a 500 Marine Company that provides information technology and telecommunication support to the operational Marine Logistical Unit based out of Camp Lejeune, NC.-Managed and accounted for multiple critical asset accounts including sensitive cryptographic keys, controlled cryptographic items, and high value weapons valued at over $5,000,000.-Improved organizational procedures and processes for personnel risk management, critical risk based reporting procedures, professional training and education, and mentorship development.-Deployed to Norway during exercise COLD RESPONSE 14 and implemented a robust and resilient information technology architecture supporting geographically dispersed forces across rugged terrain.-Trained and mentored junior officers in managerial and supervisory positions on best practices, reporting procedures and leadership capabilities.

-Served as the communications officer for an approximately 800 Marine Battalion during pre-deployment and deployment to Afghanistan.-Planned, coordinated, and supervised the implementation of multiple information technology architectures during pre deployment training that enabled information exchange and decision making.-Planned, coordinated, and supervised the data and voice communication architecture installation for the Logistics Combat Elements consolidation on Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan in support of the base realignment and closure process during OEF 13-1.-Successfully managed and maintained 100% accountability for over 120 classified hard drives, $1,500,000 of theater provided equipment, and a $5,000,000 consolidated memorandum receipt.-Supervised and managed the Systems Control Center's conduct of over 100 authorized service interruptions, 50 network change requests, and 30 unplanned network outages.

-Served as the assistant network operations officer for a communications directorate of the main east coast USMC operational logistics unit.-Streamlined the process for completing unit infrastructure renovations though coordination with contractors, unit liaisons, and the NMCI team.--Maintained overall cognizance for over 250 cellular devices to include cellular phones, wireless cards, and Blackberry devices. Coordinated the distribution, usage monitoring, troubleshooting, and upgrade for all Marines within 2d MLG.-Mentored and guided the 17 G-6 Marines while concurrently serving as the platoon commander-Identified unit communication asset deficiencies within 2d MLG. Planned and coordinated the delivery of replacement of over 100 pieces of information technology and telephone equipment to enhance the unit's mission readiness.-Coordinated the NMCI refresh of information technology assets and the retrieval of legacy communication assets.
