These scripts allow for user-specified nanocrystal size, lattice identity and structure, the input of both substitutional and interstitial dopant atoms, as well as the rotation of the crystal for viewing along any zone axis.Performing TEM simulation using Kirkland's Computem and analyzing the results of these simulations pertaining to the effects of mistilt and dopant atom location on integrated intensity and visibility in three dimensions.

Analyzed the effects of pressure and temperature on the integrity of various grades of polylactic acid (PLA).Studied the effect of hydrolysis on polymer crystallinity using differential scanning calorimetry.Correlated mass loss, polymer chain size, and crystallinity based on the pre- and post-degradation properties of PLA.

Creation and photochemical curing of polymer formulations for use in dental filling applications.Mechanical testing of cured polymer formulations in controlled environments to simulate performance in a human mouth.Analysis of large amounts of data including compressive and shear strengths, flexural modulus, opacity, pH, and curing-related shrinkage.
