Currently working with the Control Laws team at Bombardier in Montreal. This is my third position in Bombardier's New Graduate Rotation Program. Responsibilities include creation of fly-by-wire and aircraft dynamics simulations with MATLAB/Simulink followed by interpretation of the results. The simulations and reports are primarily focused on failure analysis.

Completed seven months with the Flight Sciences team at Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita. Work included development of test plans and support of active flight test campaigns through analysis and debrief of results.

Worked as a flight test engineer at the Bombardier Flight Test Center in Wichita. Supported test preparation and execution on multiple aircraft. This was my first position in the New Graduate Rotation Program.

Led a team of senior mechanical engineering students in designing and prototyping of a lunar regolith transportation system. The project included mechanical and electrical system design, CAD and physical prototyping, and physical troubleshooting. A considerable portion of my time was taken up with learning and implementing project management and leadership skills. This project was part of the Over the Dusty Moon Challenge sponsored by Lockheed Martin.

A final class project that involved detecting when a package was moved, and then deploying water spray and an airhorn as deterrents. The project was controlled with an onboard Arduino Uno programmed in C++ and made use of a water pump, stepper motor, reed switch, and 3D printed support pieces.

Haas, Fanuc and Okuma controls • Read prints and inspect parts for conformance, typically +/- .005 tolerance • Checked parts using basic measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and depth gauges

• Responsible for the physical assembly, wiring and testing of control panels for industrial equipment• Fabricated controls to print, including layout and physical mounting of components to the back panel, wiring of all components, installation of control panel onto equipment, and testing to ensure proper operation

I have played with several bands in the Portland area, including 4 Day Moon and Crash, writing and performing original tunes and covers.

Lived and worked with a team in back country areas of Oregon, Washington, and Northern California. Removed invasive plant species, performed trail maintenance, and learned about environmental conservation.
