Mr. Ebert holds a Master (Sc.) degree in Sustainable Forestry and Land Use Planning and works currently as Chief Technical Advisor for an Environmental Project in Guyana. He has a sound background in tropical forestry, sustainable area development, forest certification and protected area management.Mr. Ebert draws from over 15 years of experience in applied natural resources management. In the course of this, he worked for more than 12 years in Amazon countries of South America: Brazil, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Guyana. Mr. Ebert has substantial experience in the planning, management and implementation of inter-nationally funded projects, especially by the German Cooperation, and is therefore well acquainted with standard regulations and procedures. His expertise comprise contract management and client liaison, communication with partner organizations, progress monitoring and budget control.
