Lead on implementation of industry leading core banking technology for trade finance across HSBCs non-ASP markets (Americas, UK & Europe, Middle East & North Africa), delivering improved client experience, revenue growth, more efficient capital use, and reduced costs.

Ownership of long terms strategic planning and delivery of strategic priorities across the Trade Finance business in the region, including agendas on People & Talent, Business Development & Transformation

Responsible for driving transformational change, managing cost & efficiency and improving our service offering to corporate and wholesale clients across 8 countries and 3 offshore hubs across the Middle East & North Africa. Highlights include project design and execution for major transformation projects including set up of the Global Trade Operations Centre of Excellence in Cairo with multi-million dollar annual cost savings, as well as ownership of a diverse range of agendas including complex projects, offshoring and outsourcing, technology deployment, business management, budget management, analytics and robotics, as well as the regional training programme.

Design & Execution of Mexico & Latin America Commercial Banking Financial Crime Cultural Change Programme, working closely with the front line teams to drive significant change across our Financial Crime Compliance programme in the region.

Working across complex trade finance initiatives including strategic modelling and delivery of a global correspondent banking model for trade finance, to deliver significant cost efficiency and risk benefits, and working across internal and external/regulatory policy documents, including supporting refresh of Wolfsberg's Trade Finance Princples industry wide guidance document.

Management, documentation & mitigation of risks, control testing and improvements, and risk reporting across the Commercial Bank, Private Bank, Global Markets, Funds, and Operations

Relationship Management of international SME & MME clients, supporting their diverse banking needs including traditional lending, trade finance and payments.
