Information Technology Support OfficerWest Midlands Police Nov 2018 - May 2021Birmingham, England, United Kingdom- Managed Local Mobility and Laptop Workshops held at Hubs across the force. This requires constant management of stock and local inventories, working with third party suppliers, supporting customers on a one to one basis for Laptop/Mobility Issuance/Repairs, the re-imaging and supply of desktops for local sites and additionally I have taken to the repair and upkeep of laptops which have fallen out of warranty.- Provide Tier 2 desk support via phone or webchat for customers using the Airwatch Mobility Platform. This requires providing guidance, instruction and remote fixes to prevent the customer having to attend a local hub. - Supported the development, knowledge and deployment of smart phones across the WMP organisation. This stemmed from the initial development of a pilot project to it's widespread launch which supported a network of 4500 devices across the force. The continued development of this new technology has led to the original devices being phased out and replaced with new models on a new and overhauled platform. This new platform was built upon my teams support, the successes of the initial model and the continued development of our customer experience. This new platform now supports 7000+ devices across the force to which i provide first and second line technical support. -
