Operated a small scale painting business where I worked alongside an academic peer during the year of 2020 to maintain employment throughout the height of the pandemic. The goal of the business was to implement our learning objectives from school in a practical and real life scenario. I performed operational tasks intended to support the day to day activities required to complete projects. These included supervising of painting crews through resource and personnel support, direct customer assistance, and effective on site management strategies.

I joined the Chianti family while in Junior High and had remained a part time employee through to 2020. This opportunity allowed me to maintain structure throughout my post secondary education while earning a stable pay cheque week to week. My responsibilities began with clearing tables and supporting the front end staff in all restaurant capacities. in time however, my roles in house progressed to bartending, table service, and low level management. This employment offered me the flexibility to pursue alternative sources of income and other practical work experiences. I gained and developed my time and spacial management skills, my communication skills, and most importantly my ability to work as a contributing and leading team member.

Operated in many capacities as a field worker within four party trenching crews. Preparation and installation of four party utility services including Atco Gas, EPCOR Power, Telus, and Shaw. Daily tasks included swamping trenches, fusing PVC gas line to industry standards, fishing and labeling each utility in accordance to engineer blueprints. Safety, communication, and effective work habits were among my most developed skills in this position. I found success in my roles at Volker Stevin and was entrusted to participate in more complex tasks and operations within the field.
