- Fifteen years experience in working as an ACC legal advisor- Experience in representing ACC in review hearings, mediations and at District Court Appeals. This included the analysis of evidence, preparation of submissions and presenting ACC’s case in the hearing / appeal.- A strong track record in providing written and oral legal advice to a range of people of varying backgrounds- A sound working knowledge of ACC legislation and practices- Experience in training a wide range of stakeholders including case managers, branch medical advisors, clinical advisors and external providers like occupational physicians and vocational assessors.- Assisted with responses to Ministerial enquiries and to the Complaints Office- Contract writing and reporting which has included the writing of updates concerning recent legal developments in ACC law, mainly based on recent relevant court cases.- IRD adjudication, private insurance and legal associate experience
