Responsible for operational risk oversight of the Specialised Asset Finance business activities in EMEA and North America.• Identification and mitigation of non-financial risks applicable to business change proposals and principal transactions across a range of sectors including Technology, Telecommunications, Resources, Shipping, Trade Finance, Renewables, Vehicles.• M&A due diligence and application of suitable and sustainable risk management frameworks to acquired companies.• Ensuring appropriate governance of change management and transaction approvals covering retail and wholesale financing activities.• Managing of a team of risk professionals responsible for executing the full scope of the risk management framework including transaction advisory, conduct risk, risk and control self-assessments (RCSA), control assurance and incident investigation• Reporting on the effectiveness of the risk management framework and the operational risk profile of various businesses to senior management and company boards.

Reporting within the business as well as central Risk Management Group;- Provide compliance advice to the division and other stakeholders with Macquarie Group- Review and approve marketing material for finance campaigns- Work with the business and support areas to implement regulatory, operational risk and compliance policy changes- Review new products and initiatives for compliance impact and develop new procedures where required- Attend industry, regulator and legal workshops to maintain awareness of issues impacting the business- Manage application fraud investigation team- Key escalation point for compliance and operational risk matters- Provide regular updates and training to business staff and external stakeholders
