• Setting up monitoring equipment properly disinfecting and sterilizing appropriate electrodes, transducers and equipment.• Calling the patient to verify that they will be coming for their scheduled sleep study.• Setting up and monitoring a 3-bed sleep lab two to three nights a week.• Putting patient’s information into Alice 6 & Alice 5 system, verifying the patient is set up for the correct sleep study.• Greeting the patient and giving them an overview of what the hookup and sleep study will consist of to make the patient knowledgeable and comfortable.• Following established testing preparation protocols, including calibrating and adjusting equipment and applying electrodes and sensor.• Ability to perform CPAP, Bi-PAP Titration.• Monitoring the patient throughout the night, as well as monitoring the normal and abnormal sleep stages and noting any events that have occurred.• Experience in working with numerous types of patients such as elderly, prison inmates, morbidly obese and patients with handicaps. • Ability to perform MSLT and MWT studies.• Carefully waking patients in the morning and removing electrodes and transducers and assists patient with any other needs they may have.• Concluding the sleep study, responsible for sterilizing all sleep study equipment and cleaning up the sleep study room(s).• Writing up Technician Summary report on each patient and Scoring study.

• Setting up monitoring equipment. • Greeting the family and the children making them feel comfortable and giving them an overview of what the hookup and sleep study will consist of, to make the patient and family knowledgeable about the process.• Patients ranging from infants to 18 years old with different medical conditions.• Putting the patient’s vitals into the NATUS system, making sure they are set up for the sleep study they are scheduled for.• Hooking patient(s) up for sleep study with appropriate monitoring electrodes EKG (heart), EMG (muscle), and EOG (eye movement).• Monitoring the patient throughout the night. As well as monitoring the normal and abnormal sleep sleep stages and noting any events that have occurred.• Carefully waking patients in the morning and removing electrodes and transducers and assists patient with any other needs they may have.
