Designated Unit: Polypropylene Plant (Bulk Polymerization and Extrusion Unit) Work cooperatively with contract personnel to ensure a safe working environment for their staffs by ensuring the usage of  PPE and strict adherance to safety rules.General operation of Process Plant Equipment such as Pumps, Compressors, valves.Endorse Work Permits(PTW) as the Area Operator(AO); Endorse Work Permits as the Isolating Authority (IA) when required.Liaising with the CRT(Control Room Technician) and also ensuring that the CRT is informed and consulted about operations and detected problems.Daily logging of relevant Process Plant Parameters and maintaining shift changeover notes.Responsible for maintaining high standard housekeeping in all operational areas.Safe performance of vessel entry.Safely perform physical tasks e.g moving of drums of chemicals, or other materials either  by the aid of production assistants, or by lifting, hauling equipment, climbing ladders/silos/tanks.Performing minor maintenance to equipment such as valve greasing, lubrication of pumps & compressors, etc.Toolbox meetings and reported safety meetings.Identification and implementation of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance on Process equipment to ensure reliable, effective and safe operational conditions.Make Process changes quality control of end products that are accepted standards as required and in liaison with the CRT(Control Room Technician).
