I’m a student at Virginia Tech, majoring in Real Estate and minoring in Property Management. Through my coursework, I have developed a strong understanding of real estate market analysis, financing, development, as well as property management. My knowledge includes performing residential and commercial market analyses, creating financial models, pro formas, cash flow models, amortization schedules, and assessing the viability and profitability of acquisitions, developments, and dispositions. I have conducted sensitivity analyses, IRR analyses, ANOVAs, and regressions. I have also reviewed and created offering memorandums for both existing and potential real estate developments, and in doing so, gained a deeper understanding of feasibility analyses, the entitlement process, the financing of real estate, the design process, and the development process. I am currently focusing on completing my studies while seeking an internship or summer job opportunity in real estate acquisitions or portfolio management, where I can apply my skills in data analysis and expand my knowledge in the field.
