• Monitor utility service database to approximately 200 court properties throughout California for tracking utility issues and facility performance. Utility data is used to provide monthly facility reports that include EUI, WUI, and utility overspend.• Spearheaded the JCC’s Utility Bill Population project, converting approximately 90% of the 750 utility accounts to paperless billing.• Analyze and pursue renewable projects for photovoltaic and energy storage systems using industry tools such as Energy Toolbase and ReOPT to evaluate JCC’s Building Energy Solar and Storage Technologies Phase 1. BESST Phase 1 consists of 32 court facilities with a total of 15 megawatts solar and 10 megawatts of storage capacity.• Annually prep and validate energy data in Energy Star Portfolio Manager. Tasked with leading JCC’s initiative to meet AB802 Benchmarking Compliance, submitting 86 properties of 50,000sqft+ to California Energy Commission for 2018-2021.• Experience in updating governmental policies such as facility standards, water conservation, and state sustainability goals.• Launched JCC’s pilot recycling program in Los Angeles County to meet California’s mandatory recycling laws. The program implemented comingled and organics recycling at 27 sites in LA to reduce overall waste to landfill and carbon emissions, while aiming at neutral or net cost savings within 2 years.
