I'm a tech enthusiast who completed an EQF Level 5 diploma qualification with Code Institute for Full Stack Software Development in May 2023. Throughout the course of working towards this qualification, I learnt how to work with languages and syntaxes including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Python, and jQuery. I also studied the Agile methodology and applied it to the development process of my own milestone projects, which themselves were version-controlled via GitHub. My later projects were created using the Django framework and were deployed on Heroku, whereas my earlier work was hosted with GitHub Pages. SEO practises were also applied to my later work during their development. I am actively seeking opportunities in web development at a junior level in order to put my new skills and knowledge into practise, and build on them further. Currently I am working as an Operations Coordinator with Snakehive, an eCommerce retail business, where I primarily work in a inventory data management role. Experienced with Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, inventory and order management systems such as Linnworks, and supply planning. My work at Snakehive has also enabled me to develop useful team skills; for example, I am a strong communicator, as my work often requires involvement from multiple different teams and key stakeholders. I have a keen attention to detail, both with my own work and when reviewing the work of others, and when I identify potential issues I proactively consider solutions and implement them early such that later work flows remain uninterrupted.
