Requirements of my job role included:Conducting audits in compliance with the ISO9001:2015,ISO14001:2015, ISO45001:2018 and ISO27001:2013 standards across a portfolio of clients in a variety of industries such as: High Court Enforcement, Petrochemical, Architectural Design, Water Treatment, Electrical Contracting, Voltage Optimisation, HVAC & Refrigeration, SPV Management, Inject Mould Manufacturing, Metal Manufacturing, Facilities Management, Distribution, Software Development, Chemical Manufacturing and Aerospace. Chairing Management Meetings inclusive of performance and target reviews/setting of KPIs. Attendance at regular external assessments held by UKAS accredited Certification Bodies.

As a Business Development Manager I was required to:To develop and manage sales plans.Source sufficient new business opportunities.Telephone prospects to research and secure meetings.Conduct face-to-face meetings effectively and professionally to identify needs.Identify and present suitable client solutions.Self-manage full sales cycle.Report and present to Sales Manager based on agreed KPIs.

After completing my postgraduate study I seized the opportunity to progress to a management position within Staples. As a long-term member of staff within the company, I welcomed the opportunity to gain some management experience, filling in as a Team Leader at the Staples Altrincham store until able to gain a graduate position relevant to my academic studies.Responsibilities included management of a small team, providing direction to motivate staff in working towards store and corporate targets. As a Team Leader allocated to Inventory, I gained substantial systems experience while managing all inventory for the store.

As a sales associate I worked over five Staples stores during my employment - transferring between stores when living away from home for my studies. I worked at stores in Stockport, Manchester, Liverpool, Birkenhead and Altrincham. Working within a range of teams allowed me to develop skills and gain experience working with a variety of people.This role required me to develop and utilise effective communication skills. Working with team sizes of up to 30 people requires constant communication in order to collectively work towards store targets.

Working in a highly respected retail company as a sales assistant, working along-side a diverse range of people.Roles and responsibilities included:Promoting products and and the business brand.Stock Management - ensuring products were merchandised correctly and in accordance with brand standards.Merchandising products and advising customers.
