Independent management of large across government processes end to end - establishing time frames, obtaining approvals required by legislation, - writing technical documentation and easy to read guidelines, - designing associated data collection and reporting systems, managing all aspects of subsequent approvals (financial such as payments authorization, delegations, reconciliations, budget journaling and adjustments, regulation changes) - preparing internal minutes /media releases/ parliamentary briefings outlining process results to a variety of stakeholders at different levels. Processes managed include- Setting the annual indexation of government fees and charges for over 100 regulations across 20 departments totalling $1.3 billion in revenue - Surplus cash management - ensuring any surplus funds held by departments are returned to government whilst balancing liquidity needs for departments which experience ongoing pressures (health and child protection).- Centrally Held Contingencies for anticipated budget pressures, determining amounts, journaling budget adjustments, arranging payments.- Departmental funding supplementation (appropriations)Responsible for collating, analysing and reporting on a wide variety of data sets for budgeting, reporting and monitoring purposes, designing data collection systems and reports, all of which require a high level working knowledge of accounting. -Whole of Government Fiscal outlook- Government 10 year Fiscal Modelling- Capital Projects- Actuals to budget and budget to budget variance analysis - Monthly Monitoring processes in prior years- Many other ad hoc processes e.g. savings estimates, Full time equivalent analysis, payroll analysis etc. Key contributor to State Budget papers content and Budget process design.
