My responsibilities within this role mainly focus on using motion design principles (motion graphics, character animation and compositing) to animate storyboards to life as a final video product for our client's advertising purposes. I also do traditional video editing (organizing, color correcting, and cutting interview and b-roll footage into a cohesive story edit). The work I have done includes TV spots (60/30/15 second spots), social posts (horizontal and vertical), and web advertising (webpage video and banners). On occasion I get to use my video shooting skills on-set to operate camera and help guide shot and lighting choices to achieve the vision of the creative lead and client.

My responsibilities under this role were to create educational and entertaining video content for 1A Auto's YouTube channel. For every video I worked on I was involved in every step of the process (concepting and planning videos, directing talent, recording clean video and audio, cutting together footage into a finished edit and creating eye-catching thumbnails).I took initiative in adding custom made motion graphics into videos for added visual interest and was tasked create a library of assets for our team to easily and efficiently add motion graphics to our videos.I recognized a need for better onboarding and laid out the groundwork for a new training module to help better prepare new hires as well as giving current staff an organized process for effectively training new hires in the video team's best practices.
