Provide critical direction for all core processes, including strategic planning, budget planning and succession/talent management. Priorities include strengthening the global infrastructure operations, improving service reliability and support for APL employees, and working with the external providers to achieve better service delivery and improved pricing.•Manage Operations and Systems staff in the following disciplines: System Admin (all platforms), Web appkications, Operations Analysis, Operations automations, Systems Engineers, Project Management, Product Implementation, Production Control, Computer Job Scheduling, Change Control, Problem management, backup and restoration, data transmissions and Internet Secured Site, Operations Support. •Management of all IT outsorucing contracts, service management, and service support.•Management responsibility includes system operations planning, staff hiring, performance evaluation, staff development, and management reporting.•Budget responsibility for systems software and maintenance, over 30 millions.•Participate in the physical planning, installation, and relocation ofHardware
