My fascination with the intricate systems and functions of plants and their impact on humanity, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture at Lovely Professional University, Punjab. During my four years of study, I acquired a diverse set of skills and interdisciplinary knowledge, when came to understand molecular biology and technology's impact on agriculture. This curiosity led me to pursue a Master's in Agriculture Biotechnology from Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. Where, my research work focused on the "Standardization of Tissue Culture Protocol for Banana Micro Propagation," refining methodologies for micropropagation of various banana varieties. I developed and implemented precise protocols, ensuring reproducibility and reliability in the micropropagation process. Alongside this, I gained hands-on experience with basic bioinformatics tools such as NCBI, BLAST, and MEGA, among others. In addition to my research, I am proficient in various aspects of plant tissue culture, including aseptic techniques, media preparation, and micropropagation. I am skilled in DNA and plasmid isolation, with expertise in genomic DNA extraction and PCR amplification. Furthermore, my proficiency extends to plant histology studies, where I excel in sectioning techniques, microscopy, and staining protocols. With strong analytical and problem-solving skills, I am proficient in Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, and JMP statistical software. Eager to contribute my expertise in plant science and biotechnology to innovative projects, I am enthusiastic and determined in setting my career upfront in research and development. As a fresher, I am open to taking up any assigned tasks with full dedication, sincerity, and hard work.
