Highly accomplished financial services professional with 7 years of experience, 6 of which are in fund administration in a middle office role.I am currently a middle office supervisor in global fund administration company HedgeServ. I started this position in 2022.I had previously worked for 6 years for MUFG Alternative fund services also in a middle office role (2016 - 2022). At the time, I joined a newly formed middle office team in Ireland as a junior, eventually being promoted to a senior during my tenure there.During my Middle office career, I have displayed a high attention to detail and provided solutions to a wide range of problems to meet and exceed client expectations. This is highlighted by my career progression and awards such as earning a quarterly award during my time in MUFG for showing dedication to clients.I have a deep and ever-expanding technical knowledge in the middle office field having contributed to several core middle office functions such as Reconciliations, OTC settlements, PB and EB settlements, Bank Debt and Private equity administration and PB break resolution.I have professional experience with various financial products such as Equities, Equity Swaps, FX, TRS, IRS, MBS, Bonds and Repos.In all my roles, I have worked as part of a larger global team in an ecosystem consisting of various internal stake holders and clients. I have been a key team player who has always prided myself in providing guidance to my colleagues to achieve team goals and to help in the professional development of said colleagues. This also goes the other way as I love learning from others experiences and expertise.Prior to my career in middle office, I interned at accounting firm Mazars in the corporate finance department for 1 year after graduating from UCD in 2015 where I had earned a BA in Mathematics and Economics (2.1).I am currently participating in formal education for the first since 2015. I am studying a part-time Higher Diploma in Science in Computing at NCI.Tech is increasingly becoming vital to the financial industry particularly in middle office. Given my prior experience applying the problem solving skills from my background in math to economics in college and my current field of employment, I believe this will be an excellent addition to my current skill set and something I can provide real value in. I am currently on track to earn a 1.1 and I am enjoying the new challenge this presents.
